SEC Schools Lose Out on Running Back

Ezekiel Elliott has committed to the Ohio State University. Elliott is a 4-star running back and ranked as the 9th best RB. Elliott had offers from these SEC schools: Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt. He also had interest from Alabama.

SEC Recruits Battle For NHSI title

     #2 ranked Findlay Prep cameback to beat #12 Montverde for the NHSI  title. Findlay Prep has Anthony Bennett, a Kentucky and Florida recruit, and Amedeo Della Valle, a Texas A&M recruit. Montverde has Kasey Hill, a Florida commit. Bennett finished with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Hill had 23 points and 6 assists.

Bryant Jr. Commits to Oklahoma

     Greg Bryant Jr. has committed to play football at the Oklahoma. Bryant Jr. had interest in several SEC schools. He was interested in Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and Georgia. He held offers from all of them. Bryant Jr. was also considering Connecticut, Florida State, Marshall, Miami(FL), Minnesota,  Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, South Florida, USC, Wake Forest, and West Virginia. Only 3 of those schools had not offered; Florida State, Miami (FL), and Oregon. Bryant Jr. is ranked as the 8th best running back and the 59th best player overall.

South Carolina Loses Out On Point Guard

     South Carolina target Ian Baker has committed to Providence. Ian Baker is a 3-star recruit and is not ranked by Scout.com. Baker was also considering Boston College, East Carolina, and Seton Hall. South Carolina and Providence were the only schools that had offered. Baker is from Jacksonville, Florida*.

*ESPN states that Baker is from Washington, D.C but rivals.com states that he is from Jacksonville.

SEC Schools lose Prospect

     Ben Boulware, a middle linebacker from Anderson, South Carolina, has committed to play at clemson. Boulware is considered to be the 16th ranked middle linebacker. Boulware held SEC offers from Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt. South Carolina had interest but had not offered. Boulware plays at TL Hanna high school, known for Radio.

Mississippi State Departure

     Junior Forward Arnett Moultrie will not return to Mississippi State next. Moultrie has chosen to enter the NBA draft and sign with an agent. Moultrie averaged 15.8 PPG to go along with 10.6 RPG. Moultrie had a SEC-best 18 double doubles this season. DraftExpress.com ranks Moultrie as the 28th best NBA prospect.
